How is this achieved?

Small Group Yoga Therapy
Sharon can also offer Yoga Therapy sessions to small groups of individuals who have a similar health condition or symptoms.
How this will differ from regular group yoga classes, is that an individual consultation and assessment will be required for each participant in the group – prior to commencing the class. This will allow for personalisation of the practice based on the individual assessment, and may require re-assessment of at regular intervals throughout a series of classes.
Class numbers may be limited from 2 to 5 persons- depending on the nature of the health condition and the individuals participating.

Why Choose Centred Self Yoga?
After six months of doing Yoga with Sharon’s guidance, I am happy to say that the backpain I once suffered seems to be a thing of the past, and even my physio has commented on how my back and shoulder muscles have loosened up. The benefits of Yoga are endless. Thank You Sharon

I have been one of Sharon’s students at Mascot for the past 5 years and find the classes brilliant. I have become more flexible, have a calmer state of mind and definitely sleep much sounder. Sharon tailors the postures to suit the individual, so you only are working at your own pace/level. With her calming tone of voice, caring ways and great communication skills I would have no hesitation in continuing to recommend her to my family and friends.

Yoga for Stress Management has been running in the Centre for about 6 months, and it’s proving to be a valuable group that the Centre hopes to continue with. Participants have reported a definite benefit from the good mix of instruction and practice and the individual care shown within the group structure. The Yoga for Stress Management group is turning out to be a good compliment to counselling and I am happy to recommend it and a big thanks to Sharon, who’s both skilful and committed.

Sharon has been my yoga teacher for the past 3 years. She has been a friendly, engaging teacher who can cater her lessons to fit individual needs. I have noticed an improvement in my core strength and in my ability to deal with stress since starting yoga with her. The best aspects of Sharon’s teaching are her personal approach, the variety in her classes and deep knowledge of the yoga postures and breathing techniques. I would recommend her to anyone considering yoga as part of their lives.

Yoga provided a complete energy boost, helped us to release tensions, left us with a delightful sense of well being and total awareness of our body, as well as a sense of peace to help us face a hectic day at work. Sharon was an excellent teacher and came to us twice a week for over 2 years. She is very patient and “aware” of each one of us & of our particular weaknesses/health issues. We loved her!
